What do classes cost ?
Classes cost £17.00 per 15 minute session or £34.00 per 30 minute double session. Simply go to the Book Now page. The cost will be converted to your chosen currency, at the equivalent sterling rate. Fees are payable in advance. Free taster class available for first time students. Lamda classes are payable either on a half term or a full term basis only. One off classes are also available for Drama School auditions, Interview Technique, Head Girl or Boy interviews, Public Speaking Events and Drama Scholarship Auditions. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.
What platform do you use for Online classes ?
Online classes are via Zoom at a pre-arranged mutually convenient time. A Zoom invite and secure password will be issued to the parent. With Zoom you do not have to install any software and can log in directly from your browser.
Do you offer any discounts ?
10% discount is offered if a friend signs up too. The 10% discount is for one full term for both your child and their friend, on request. Please contact us for further details.
What is "Speaking Verse & Prose ?"
For this syllabus students perform a learnt poem and a piece of prose. We rehearse all the pieces and questions in class. The pieces and questions vary in difficulty depending on the grade.
What is covered in "Speaking in Public" class ?
Students write a speech, with guidance from their teacher. They practice delivering the speech and answering the set questions, ready for their exam. The student will explore a strong opening to the speech, humour, rhetorical questions, statistics, quotes, facts, opinions and covering both sides of the argument, as appropriate for the speech and grade.
